Today’s Weather Report: Air Quality of Delhi Falls under Poor Category; Read Area Wise Data
According to the Air Quality Index, the air quality of Delhi has defaced which comes under the poor category.
On Wednesday, the air quality of the national capital of India defaced as the total Air Quality Index reached 273.
The air quality of Delhi is deteriorated due to an increase in PM10 and PM2.5 pollutants.
Meanwhile, within 24 hours the total AQI has worsened from 193 to 273. On Wednesday morning, the System of Air Quality, Weather Forecasting and Research (SAFAR) have declared the air quality of Delhi in the poor category.
According to SAFAR, Delhi recorded the PM10 pollutants as 216 which falls in the moderate category wherein PM2.5 pollutants were recorded as 112 which conventionally comes in the poor category.
During the forecast, it is speculated by centre-run SAFAR that on Thursday the PM10 pollutants will be reached to 260 which is stated as poor category and the PM2.5 will be high by 135.
However, it is expected that the air quality of national capital will be improvised in the next three days.
The PM10 pollutants will be fallen down to 151 where PM2.5 is assumed to diminish to 79 which is a moderate category.
Chadani Chowk, a well known market in Delhi falls under the poor category due to its PM10 and PM2.5 pollutants at 312, 359 respectively.
Similarly, the air quality of Lodhi Road was recorded at 164 and 259 in PM10 pollutants and PM2.5.
According to the media reports, Mathura road is also recorded as PM10 pollutants at 211 and PM2.5 pollutants at 304 and has entered into the poor category.
Noida, Uttar Pradesh, reported as PM10 at 198 and PM2.5 at 287.
