Make instant khoya( Mawa) at home only with three ingredients
Here is the recipe of instant khoya or mawa which can be prepared with three simple ingredients within five minutes at home.
As we all know that the entire nation is under Lockdown since May 24, everyone is staying at home to be safe. But what about food cravings! It seems that being quarantined at home makes us hungry all the time. Especially for those who love to eat sweets daily but due to Covid-19 shutdown not getting them.
Here's a piece of good news for all sweet lovers. Today I am sharing a recipe of 'Instant Khoya or Mawa', which can be used to make various sweets easily at home. This instant mawa is the same as normal mawa in taste and looks both and can be prepared very easily in just five minutes. You can make Burfi, Gujhiya, Peda, Gulab Jamun, and many other sweets from this instant khoya.
So... here we go
Milk Powder - 1.1/2 Cup
Desi Ghee - 1/4 Cup
Milk - 1/2 Cup
How to make Instant Khoya
Take a pan (i prefer to use a nonstick pan) if you don't have nonstick then use normal pan or kadhai. Pour Milk in the pan then mix desi ghee in it. Now add milk powder in the mixture of milk and ghee and mix it really well. Now switch on the flame and keep the pan on it. Keep the flame low. Stir the ingredients well and cook until it gets thick and smooth. There should not be any lumps in the mixture.
When the mixture turns thick and comes in the form of mawa, turn off the flame. Instant Mawa is ready to use but too hot. Take it out in a bowl and wail until it comes to room temperature. Use it now or refrigerate it but not for so long because the storage life of khoa is only two to three days. So I suggest using it the same day or the next day.
Now use this instant homemade mawa to make different sweets like barfi, peda, mawa kesar barfi, gujhiya, gulab jamun, gajar ka halwa, gulab jamun and may more yummy recipes.
