State Bank of India or SBI will end the application process for recruitment of Junior Associates or Clerks on January 26, 2020. SBI has declared 8,000 clerk vacancies for this recruitment. The vacancies are present in Customer Support and Sales roles.
Eligible candidates will be selected for empanelment after passing a preliminary exam and main exam.
• An applicant must have completed their Bachelor's degree from a recognized institute or University.
• He/she must not be older than 28 years. They must refer to the recruitment notification for relaxation in upper age limit.
• Minimum age: 20
• Maximum age: 28
How to Apply for SBI clerk recruitment 2020?
Eligible candidates can simply apply for the recruitment by the application link provided on 'Career' portal of SBI website. However, candidates in General, OBC, and EWS categories will have to pay an application fee of Rs. 750.
Applicants in SC, ST, PWD, and Ex-Servicemen category are exempted from paying application fee.
SBI clerk recruitment 2020: Selection Process
The selection will depend on an applicant’s performance in the main examination. Candidates will be shortlisted for main examination only if they fulfil the cut off criteria which will be decided for the preliminary examination. The SBI Clerk prelim exam will likely be conducted in February or March.
The test of local language will be held only for those candidates who have not studied the specified local language up till 10th or 12th. The test for the local language will be held after provisional selection and before joining.
Eligible candidates shortlisted after Main exam will be selected provisionally. Final selection will be subject to verification of eligibility, and qualification in test of specified opted local language, wherever applicable.
SBI clerk recruitment 2020: Exam pattern
The online examination will be an objective type of 100 marks.
The exam is divided into three categories-
English: 30 questions,
Numerical ability: 35 questions
Reasoning: 35 questions
The online examination will be 200 marks having 190 questions.
General/Finance Awareness: 50 questions
English: 40 questions,
Quantitative aptitude: 50 questions
Reasoning: 50 questions
