Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) Vice-Chancellor Prof. Najma Akhtar has launched Admission Web Portal to receive application forms for the session 2020-21 and Prospectus today i.e. on February 20, 2020. 

Some others who were present on the occasion were Pro-Vice-Chancellor Prof. Ilyas Husain, Registrar A P Siddiqui (IPS), Controller of Examination Dr Nazim Husain Jafri, Deans of Faculties, teachers and staff members of Controller of Examination office.

Jamia Admissions 2020-21: Important dates

  • Online forms will be available from 21 February, 2020, & the last date to apply is March 25, 2020.
  • Admission test will begin from April 18, 2020.

What are the courses available in Jamia?

The online admission forms are open for all including UG, PG, PG Diploma, Advance Diploma, Diploma, MPhil/PhD programmes.

How to apply in Jamia?

Keep the following things handy before filling the application:

  1. Email id
  2. Mobile no
  3. Scanned photo
  4. Scanned signature
  5. Credit card, Net banking or ATM-cum-Debit card

Check the following courses & their eligibility:

Master of Science (MSc) in Banking and Financial Analytics-

Eligibility Criteria-  Graduate in any subject with 55%marks with Maths/Statistic/Mathematical Economics/Econometrics as one of the subjects in 10+2 level or at degree level.

MTech. Environmental Science & Engineering (Full Time)-

Eligibility Criteria- Bachelors degree in Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Metallurgical, Mining, Agricultural Engineering or any other equivalent and relevant degrees in Engineering & Technology only with not less than 60% marks in an absolute system or equivalent grade of 6.75 on a 10 point scale. 

PG Diploma in Molecular Diagnostics (PGMD- Self-financed)-

Eligibility Criteria- BSc/BTech in either of the subjects like Zoology, Chemistry with Zoology, Bio-Chemistry, Life-Science/Bio-Science, Microbiology, Biotechnology with minimum 55%marks or equivalent grade.
