Donald Trump and his wife Melania were given a traditional welcome today in Rashtrapati Bhavan. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Ram Nath Kovind received Trump and his wife Melania at Rashtrapati Bhavan. In the premises of Rashtrapati Bhavan, Trump inspected the guard of honor of a mixed contingent of three forces.
Who all were present in the ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan?
Trump's daughter Ivanka, son-in-law Jared Kushner and American officials were present at the ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar, Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr. Harshvardhan, other leaders and officials were also present at the function.
Trump paid floral tributes to Mahatma Gandhi
US President Donald Trump and his wife Melania Trump went to Raj Ghat (the burial place of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi) and paid floral tributes to Mahatma. After this both of them i.e Trump and his wife Melania Trump scattered flower petals on to the memorial, sending a cloud of red and gold into the air. Donald Trump also planted a plant in the premises of Rajghat with his wife Melania Trump, as per the custom. After planting the plant, Donald Trump was also presented a statue of Mahatma Gandhi.
Bilateral talks with Prime Minister Modi
After planting the pant, Trump reached Hyderabad House to hold bilateral talks with Prime Minister Modi. Remarkably, there will be ample talks between US President Donald Trump and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Aim of both leaders
The aim of both of these great leaders is to expand the India-US global partnership.

Melania Trump pays visit to a Sarvodaya Co-Ed Senior Secondary School in Nanakpura. She meets and communicates with students. Melania Trump is visiting the school as part of her visit to the city. She is attending a Happiness Class session.
