The counting for the exit polls of Delhi Election 2020 has been started from 8 AM. It is likely that Aam Aadmi Party will secure a landslide victory for the third time in the capital. 

Though, BJP, AAP and Congress all the three parties had tried hard to put their efforts for the election 2020. Amid the election, Delhi became a battle ground to rein the power.

The ruling Aam Aadmi Party has sought to continue its government on the work done in the field of health and by providing cheap electricity and free bus services for the females.

Meanwhile, BJP focused more and conducted a vast campaign on Nationalism and Anti-CAA protests.

As per the sources, 56 out of 70 seats for AAP while 20 seats for BJP and 0 seat for congress is predicted after the exit polls voting.

Around 2600 counting staff, including 33 counting observers, will be involved in the counting of votes stated by the Election Commission of India.

In 2015, the Congress party fell down and lost to the AAP is seeking to retain the power. Arvind Kejriwal took the power by securing 67 out of 70 seats in the 2015 Delhi assembly polls. 

On Tuesday, a number of officials started counting the votes for the awaited victory of Delhi Assembly Election 2020 at centres which includes 21 locations and 11 districts along with a tight security. 

Delhi’s Special Chief Electoral Officer Satnam Singh added, “The engineers from the company that manufactured EVMs will be stationed at the counting centres in order to take care of any kind of technical glitches in the machines."

Satnam Singh further included, “The time taken for results to come out of an assembly constituency will depend upon the number of polling stations situated there. However, we are expecting results to be out by afternoon".

On February 8, the Delhi election took place peacefully and the results will be announced by the afternoon.

Comparison between the 2015 and 2020 polling shows a major difference as 62.59 percent Delhiites voted from last year.
